Absolutely! And I came across another article just today, about health care providers' algorithms in the US denying care to Black people that they would have qualified for if the algorithm didn't take race into account. (Which I also added as an edit to the original post, because it's so relevant.) These things are all about entrenching privilege vs. disadvantage and have nothing to do with good decision-making.
